Election Committee

In compliance to the recommendations of the Lyngdoh Committee, as approved by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the Student Union Election of this college are conducted every year in accordance with the provisions of “Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Govt Degree College Student Union Election By Laws-2013”. In this direct election of student union, students elect their representatives for 5 posts : President, Vice-President, Joint Secretary, Secretary and cultural Secretary. The entire procedure of student union election is meant to initiate students in democratic value system and inculcate in them sense of reponsibility and awareness for rights as well.
