Admission Process to Undergraduate Courses
Admissions to the undergraduate programs at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Degree College (A Constituent Post Graduate College of the University of Allahabad) for the academic session 2024-25 will be based on the scores obtained in the CUET (UG-2024). Additionally, candidates who did not appear in the CUET-UG 2024 or those who appeared but did not register for the University of Allahabad can also apply for admission to the undergraduate courses. Prospective students must carefully read the UG admission procedures, instructions, and the college brochure available on the college's website at www.spmau.ac.in.

- Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions and information before going through the online link.
- Candidates must ensure that they meet all eligibility criteria required for admission to different courses.
- Candidates who have appeared in the CUET-2024 with respective subject domain are eligible for admission to the undergraduate courses.
- Candidates who have appeared in the CUET-2024 with subjects and wish to take admission in different subjects (CUET with non-subjects) are also eligible for admission to undergraduate courses.
- Candidates who have not appeared in the CUET-2024 are also eligible for admission to the undergraduate courses. The admission to the NON-CUET category would be considered subject to the availability of seats in the respective U.G. courses.
- Before admission to U.G. courses, candidates must familiarize themselves with the Ordinances, Rules and Regulations of the University of Allahabad available on the college website.
- The candidate claiming admission under the reserved category must have an Updated Certificate (appropriate to get admission to Central Education Institutions, under the Government of India) issued by the competent authority.
- The reservation policy of the Government of India for admissions to the Central Universities and its constituent colleges will be strictly followed.
- Applicants should submit an ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) ID at the time of registration. The ABC ID can be generated at www.abc.gov.in
- The registration fee for UR/OBC/EWS is Rs 300/ and 150/ for SC/ST/Ph. The registration fee is not refundable in any case.
- After successful registration, students will get a chance for admission on the basis of merit, category and availability of seats.
- Kindly visit the college website (www.spmau.ac.in) regularly for updates regarding cut off merit, date of admission and physical verification.
- All admissions are provisional and subject to the physical verification of the original documents before a physical verification committee in the college.
