The Library of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Degree College was established in 1997. The library started with an initial collection of a few books has now grown up to a rich collection of 16500+ books, reference books, periodicals and journals. In addition to above the library also caters to the need of PhD and PG students in different subjects. Faculties and Students from all academic branches can find resources as per their reading interests and requirement.

It also started subscribing to over 6,000+ online journals and 1,99,000+ e-books since 2018 through N-LIST.
